Meklord Army of Skiel

The Meklord Army of Skiel was introduced as part of the Extreme Victory booster set, released in the West during the spring of 2011. This set served as the final chapter in the 5D's era of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, designed to flesh out the Meklord archetype, which were mechanical antagonists featured in the anime. The monster design reflects the industrial, scrap-metal aesthetic typical of the Meklord theme, characterized by a jagged, modular appearance intended to signify their role as machines built from the remnants of other defeated monsters.

The card was illustrated to fit the synergy of the Meklord Army engine, focusing on swarming the field to support the larger Meklord Emperor boss monsters. As a common rarity card, it was distributed widely to ensure accessibility for players looking to complete their deck strategies. While it did not hold the same collectible prestige as the holographic foil cards in the set, it was noted by players for its utility in competitive play during the 5D's meta, marking a distinct point in the game's shift toward faster, machine-centric combat.
