Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Pharaonic Guardian expansion in 2003. It quickly became a foundational card in the game's competitive landscape, allowing players to tribute a monster to special summon a Fusion Monster of the same level from their Extra Deck. Its inclusion in Dark Revelation Volume 1, released in 2005, served as a reprint to help make the card more accessible to the growing player base, as the set was designed to consolidate powerful staples from earlier releases into a single compilation.
