Amagi Brilliant Park: No Time to Take It Easy!

Amagi Brilliant Park: No Time to Take It Easy! was produced by Kyoto Animation in 2015 as a bonus original video animation (OVA) following the completion of the 2014 television series. The narrative serves as an extension of the light novel series by Shoji Gatoh, focusing on the comedic daily operations of a magical theme park struggling to avoid closure. This installment was crafted to provide fans with additional character interactions and world-building that the constraints of the standard twelve-episode broadcast could not fully accommodate.

The production maintains the signature aesthetic established by series director Yasuhiro Takemoto and the character design team at Kyoto Animation. The visual approach prioritizes vibrant, expressive animation that leans into the absurd and whimsical nature of the park's mascots and the high-strung management style of the human lead. Upon its release, it was well-received by the existing fanbase for preserving the tone of the original light novels while showcasing the high production values typical of the studio's mid-2010s output.
