BIKINI WARRIORS: Genkai Toppa, Okite-Yaburi

Bikini Warriors: Genkai Toppa, Okite-Yaburi is a special episode released in 2015 that serves as an extension of the broader Bikini Warriors project. This multimedia franchise originated as a collaboration between Hobby Japan and Megahouse, focusing on high-fantasy character designs rendered in the visual style of skimpy armor tropes. The project was conceived as a lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek parody of traditional tabletop role-playing games and fantasy anime archetypes, aiming to emphasize aesthetic absurdity over serious narrative stakes.

The animation for the series was produced by studio feel., known for their work on various character-driven adaptations. The character designs were handled by a rotating group of high-profile illustrators, including Reiichi Hisakata and Oda Non, who were tasked with creating visually striking figures that prioritized fan-service. Upon release, the series and its accompanying specials were received primarily as niche comedy content, noted by critics for their commitment to a specific, stylized design philosophy that bridges the gap between figure collecting culture and serialized anime.
