Find Your One Way

Find Your One Way serves as a central musical motif and theme for the 2023 animated series 'Girls Band Cry,' produced by the studio SANZIGEN. The track was composed as a narrative anchor for the series, reflecting the turbulent journey of the protagonist, Nina Iseri, and her formation of the band Togenashi Togeari. SANZIGEN utilized their characteristic blend of high-fidelity 3D character animation to integrate the song into the show's emotional beats, aiming to capture the raw, disenfranchised spirit of the underground music scene.

The production of the track and its accompanying visuals was part of a larger multimedia strategy by Toei Animation and Agehasprings to create a functional, authentic-feeling band within the anime medium. By centering the story on the technical and emotional process of songwriting, SANZIGEN sought to elevate the song from a mere background element to a core character-defining moment. The work was generally well-received by audiences for its fluid performance sequences and the specific, angst-filled lyrical tone that mirrored the struggles depicted in the show.
