HORIZON feat. Hatsune Miku

HORIZON is a prominent track featuring the virtual idol Hatsune Miku, created by the producer Orangestar. Released as part of the broader Vocaloid cultural movement, the song exemplifies the genre's shift toward high-energy, emotionally resonant electronic pop. It was designed to showcase the expressive capabilities of the Miku V4 English voicebank, balancing technical precision with a distinctly melodic, wistful aesthetic that has come to define Orangestar’s signature sound.

The production process relied on the Yamaha Vocaloid synthesis software, allowing for a nuanced vocal performance that bridges the gap between robotic artifice and human-like inflection. Upon its release, the track was received as a milestone in international Vocaloid crossover, praised by fans for its sophisticated chord progressions and evocative lyrics. It remains a hallmark of the digital era, reflecting the collaborative spirit of creators who utilize Crypton Future Media’s character software to produce professional-grade music.
