Shanhe Jian Xin Xiao Juchang

Shanhe Jian Xin Xiao Juchang, often referred to as the Thousand Autumns mini-episodes, was produced as a supplemental digital series to the primary 3D animated adaptation of Meng Xi Shi's web novel. Developed following the popularity of the main ONA, these short-form episodes were designed to offer a lighter, comedic take on the complex interplay between the protagonist Yan Wushi and Shen Qiao, diverging from the more serious tone of the core narrative.

The production utilized the existing character models and animation assets from the main series but shifted the focus toward humorous, slice-of-life vignettes. This creative choice served to deepen fan engagement by showcasing a more whimsical side of the characters, reflecting a growing trend in Chinese web animation to release short, character-driven shorts that bridge the gap between main seasonal releases.
