Tesla Note: Mickey to Oliver no Agent Yousei Kouza: Tsuika Kouza

Tesla Note: Mickey to Oliver no Agent Yousei Kouza: Tsuika Kouza was produced in 2022 as a special follow-up to the Tesla Note anime series, a project developed by W-Toon Studio. The series originated from a manga written by Masafumi Nishida, Tadayoshi Kubo, and Kouta Sannomiya, centering on a global espionage narrative involving the mysterious Tesla Crystals. This supplementary content was designed to expand upon the world-building of the main series, offering viewers additional character insights and context regarding the training program for the story's intelligence agents.

The production sought to reconcile the ambitious, multi-layered plot of the source material with the constraints of the animation format, which faced significant challenges in its original broadcast run. By utilizing the additional footage to clarify the narrative arc and deepen the character dynamics between the protagonists, the creators aimed to provide a more cohesive experience for the existing fanbase. The reception of these supplemental materials has been largely defined by the dedicated community of the original series, who viewed them as a necessary effort to flesh out the complex lore established in the preceding episodes.
