Where it came from
The Prince of Tennis II U-17 World Cup: Final Member Selection Match serves as a continuation of the long-running franchise created by Takeshi Konomi. Developed by Studio M.S.C, this iteration focuses on the high-stakes selection process required to finalize the Japanese national team roster for the global U-17 tournament, maintaining the series' trademark blend of hyperbolic sports action and character-driven drama.
The animation direction for this project follows the aesthetic established in previous U-17 installments, prioritizing dynamic court choreography and intense visual flair. As part of the broader Prince of Tennis canon, it is intended to satiate the demand for canonical progression within the competitive hierarchy of the show, focusing on the internal rivalries among the sport's most skilled young athletes as they compete for limited spots on the world stage.
