Spot-necked Bulbul

The spot-necked bulbul (Pycnonotus tympanistrigus) is a passerine bird endemic to the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. It occupies a distinct place within the Pycnonotidae family, defined by its evolutionary adaptation to the dense, high-altitude montane forests of the Bukit Barisan mountain range.
