Gigantosaurus : Las Aventuras de Rocky y Tiny / Gigantosaurus

Published in 2024 by Editorial Planeta Mexicana, this volume is part of a series of tie-in books based on the popular animated preschool series Gigantosaurus. The show itself is an adaptation of the 2003 picture book by Jonny Duddle, known for its vibrant depiction of prehistoric life through the lens of four curious young dinosaurs. This specific installment focuses on the characters Rocky and Tiny, catering to younger readers by emphasizing themes of friendship and exploration consistent with the original television production.

The visual design of these books relies heavily on the 3D computer-generated animation style established by Cyber Group Studios. Editorial Planeta Mexicana adapted these assets to create a print format intended to engage children who are familiar with the characters’ broadcast adventures. By distilling the episodic narratives into a structured book format, the publishers aim to support literacy development while maintaining the playful, colorful aesthetic that characterizes the global Gigantosaurus brand.
