Gigantosaurus : el Mejor día / Gigantosaurus

Gigantosaurus: el Mejor día is part of the publishing expansion of the popular Gigantosaurus franchise, which is based on the original children's book by Jonny Duddle. The series originated as a CGI-animated television show, which draws inspiration from Duddle’s whimsical illustrative style and his interest in prehistoric creatures. The show and its associated print media aim to balance educational prehistoric facts with the social and emotional development of its four young dinosaur protagonists.

This specific volume, published by Editorial Planeta Mexicana in 2024, reflects the ongoing effort to adapt the animated adventures for a Spanish-speaking audience. The design utilizes vibrant, high-contrast imagery derived from the animation’s production assets, intended to engage preschool readers through clear character expressions and simplified narratives. The series has generally been well-received by parents and educators as a gentle introduction to themes of friendship, bravery, and teamwork within a dinosaur-themed setting.
