A Jolly Christmas From Frank Sinatra

A Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra was originally released by Capitol Records in 1957, serving as the artist's first full-length holiday album. Conceived during the height of Sinatra's creative partnership with arranger Gordon Jenkins, the record was designed to capture a warm, intimate atmosphere through lush orchestral arrangements and a selection of traditional carols. It emerged during a prolific era of Sinatra's career at Capitol, where he was defining the quintessential vocal pop aesthetic of the mid-twentieth century.

The 2011 release acts as a remastered reissue, ensuring the longevity of these classic interpretations for modern listeners. By preserving the original track listing and the signature sonic textures provided by the Ralph Brewster Singers, the collection maintains its status as a foundational piece of holiday music. The design reflects the mid-century aesthetic of the original cover art, which has become iconic for its representation of Sinatra as the quintessential crooner of the American holiday season.
