Where it came from
Roger This Roger That was released in 2012 as an independent project by musician Roger McLachlan. Operating outside the traditional framework of major record labels, McLachlan produced this collection to showcase his personal songwriting style and instrumental capabilities, reflecting the growing trend of self-produced independent albums during the early 2010s.
The album serves as a curated representation of McLachlan's work, emphasizing a straightforward, folk-influenced aesthetic. As an independent release without the backing of a commercial distribution network, the physical CD remains a niche item primarily known within the artist's local professional circles and among collectors of independent regional music.
