Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft #121

Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft, often referred to as the DDSH, is a long-running German comic series published by Ehapa. First launched in 1965, the series was designed to provide a dedicated home for high-quality, long-form Disney comic stories, many of which were produced by the prolific American creator Carl Barks. The series became a cornerstone of German comic culture, prized by enthusiasts for its reliable inclusion of classic Duck universe narratives.

Issue number 121 was released during the late 1980s as part of this ongoing monthly tradition. Like its predecessors, it adhered to the established editorial mission of curating a selection of stories that highlighted the creative output of artists like Barks and later contributors who maintained the tone of the classic Duck comics. The design focuses on clear, accessible layouts that prioritize the readability of the scripts and the expressive, detailed character work that defined the Disney comics of the mid-20th century.
