Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft #246

Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft, often referred to as DDSH, is a long-running German comic series published by Ehapa. First launched in 1965, the series was designed to provide a dedicated platform for high-quality Disney comics, specifically focusing on the work of Carl Barks and later, Don Rosa. The series became a cornerstone of German comic culture, prized by collectors for its commitment to showcasing classic Duck stories that had previously seen limited distribution in the region.

Issue #246, released in the early 2000s, follows the established editorial tradition of combining historical material with contemporary translations. The design and layout adhere to the familiar DDSH format, which prioritizes the narrative clarity of the original stories while maintaining the classic Ehapa branding. Like its predecessors, the issue was produced during a period when the series solidified its reputation as a sophisticated publication for fans of the Barks-era aesthetic, receiving consistent praise for its curation and preservation of mid-century comic art.
