Dragon Ball Chāo: Qīlóngzhū Chāo #10

Dragon Ball Super, known in its localized Chinese serialization as Dragon Ball Chāo, represents the official continuation of Akira Toriyama's seminal martial arts manga. Chapter 10 of this series, illustrated by Toyotarou under Toriyama's direct supervision and conceptual guidance, follows the events of the Universe 6 Saga. The narrative focuses on the escalating stakes of the tournament between the champions of Universe 6 and Universe 7, specifically highlighting the tactical progression of Goku and Vegeta's training and the introduction of new divine entities.

The design and artistic direction of this issue reflect Toyotarou's commitment to maintaining the kinetic, high-energy paneling established in the original series while modernizing the aesthetic for a contemporary audience. By adhering to Toriyama's character designs and storyboard outlines, the publication aims to bridge the tonal gap between the legacy of the original Z series and the expanded cosmological scale of the Super era. It received attention from the global fan base for its rapid pacing and its role in re-establishing the dynamic growth arcs of the central protagonists.
