La Zorra y el Cuervo #242

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series that debuted in the mid-20th century, evolving from its roots in European fables into a distinct staple of Cuban popular culture. Issue number 242 represents the later stages of its long-running publication, which served as a primary source of entertainment for generations of Cuban readers. The series was characterized by its witty social commentary and anthropomorphic characters, reflecting the evolving artistic and political landscape of the island during its decades-long tenure.

The visual design of the series was defined by a clean, graphic style typical of mid-century children's literature, though it often balanced lighthearted humor with subtle, underlying satire. Created to provide accessible and engaging storytelling, the series enjoyed a massive following and a central place in the Cuban literary landscape. Collectors today prize these issues not only for their nostalgic value but as significant historical artifacts that document the development of sequential art and graphic narrative in Cuba.
