La Zorra y el Cuervo #243

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban satirical and humor magazine, first published in 1963. It emerged as a staple of the post-revolutionary cultural landscape, serving as a platform for prominent cartoonists and writers to offer social commentary and political satire within the context of socialist state media. The magazine was known for its distinct aesthetic that combined folk-inspired caricature with sharp, often biting wit directed at both domestic bureaucracy and international affairs.

Issue number 243 represents the editorial efforts during the magazine's long-running tenure, which spanned several decades of evolving Cuban political history. The design of these issues typically featured hand-drawn illustrations that prioritized clarity and narrative simplicity, reflecting the publication's mission to remain accessible to a wide general audience. While the specific thematic focus of issue 243 aligns with the magazine's standard repertoire of social satire, it remains a tangible example of the graphic traditions practiced by the Cuban humorist collective during that era.
