La Zorra y el Cuervo #245

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban satirical and humor magazine that began publication in the mid-1960s. It served as a vital platform for social and political commentary, often utilizing caricatures and wit to engage with the realities of life in post-revolutionary Cuba. Issue 245 represents a period in the magazine's long-running tenure where it had solidified its role as a cultural staple, balancing sharp editorial insights with the distinct aesthetic of Cuban graphic arts from the latter half of the 20th century.

The publication was deeply rooted in the tradition of Latin American political satire, drawing on a collaborative effort of various illustrators and writers who sought to blend public critique with accessible entertainment. The visual style of this era favored bold linework and expressive character design, which allowed the magazine to maintain a cohesive brand identity despite the evolving political landscape. It was received by readers as both a source of lighthearted diversion and a reflection of contemporary societal discourse.
