Magier #13

Magier was a German comic series primarily active during the 1980s, catering to a burgeoning market for fantasy-themed adventure comics within the European scene. As part of a series that relied on serialized storytelling and episodic world-building, issue number 13 fits into the mid-run expansion of the title, which aimed to sustain reader interest through evolving character arcs and increasingly complex magical conflicts characteristic of the sword-and-sorcery genre popular at the time.

The visual identity of the series was defined by a commitment to the classic aesthetic tropes of the era, emphasizing dramatic, high-contrast ink work and dynamic figure poses meant to convey intense action. The creative teams behind these issues were typically tasked with maintaining a consistent tone that balanced dark fantasy elements with accessible narrative structures, ensuring the series remained a reliable staple for local newsstand distribution and dedicated comic book shops across German-speaking regions.
