Psycho-Party #2

Psycho-Party #2 belongs to a niche series of underground comic books that emerged from the independent small-press scene of the late 1980s. These publications were characterized by a deliberately transgressive aesthetic, blending elements of splatter-punk horror with satirical social commentary to appeal to readers who favored the transgressive works of the era's counter-culture alternative comics.

The design and illustration of the series were handled by a small team of artists associated with the independent horror zine circuit, who sought to capture a chaotic, visceral visual style reminiscent of 1950s pulp magazines viewed through a cynical, modern lens. While the series never achieved mainstream commercial recognition, it remains a documented relic of the DIY self-publishing boom, prized by collectors who focus on obscure, independent-press graphic narratives from that specific period.
