Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie -Rebellion-: The Complete Omnibus Edition #1

This complete omnibus edition adapts the narrative of the 2013 animated film Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion, which serves as a direct sequel to the original television series. The manga adaptation was created to provide fans with a tangible, structural breakdown of the film's complex, psychological conclusion, capturing the intricate visual language that defined the Studio Shaft production. The project was helmed by the artist Hanokage, who maintained a consistent visual identity with the previous manga adaptations of the franchise.

Design-wise, the omnibus was curated to offer a seamless reading experience of the cinematic events, emphasizing the surreal, labyrinthine art style characteristic of the series' 'witch' barrier sequences. The reception of the manga was largely positive among established fans, as it allowed for a slower, more contemplative digestion of the film's challenging themes and character-driven twists. It remains a definitive piece of supplemental media for those exploring the wider scope of the Puella Magi universe.
