The Ice Guy & the Cool Girl #4

The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl, known in Japan as Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryo Joshi, originated as a social media webcomic series by author Miyuki Tonogaya. Debuting on Twitter in 2018, the series garnered a dedicated following for its gentle, workplace-centered premise involving descendants of supernatural beings navigating modern office life. Given the popularity of the online shorts, Square Enix began serializing the work on their Gangan Pixiv platform, leading to the collection of individual chapters into tankobon volumes.

The fourth volume continues the established aesthetic of the series, featuring character designs that balance a modern, clean office-wear style with subtle fantasy elements. Tonogaya’s art style is characterized by soft lines and a muted color palette that reflects the quiet, contemplative nature of the protagonists, Himuro and Fuyutsuki. The work has been well-received for its wholesome tone and has since been adapted into an anime television series, further cementing its place as a recognizable title in the contemporary romantic comedy genre.
