The Ice Guy & the Cool Girl #7

The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl, known in Japan as Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi, began as a web manga series created by Miyuki Tonogaya. Debuting on social media platforms, the series quickly gained popularity for its gentle, workplace-centered premise involving descendants of supernatural beings, leading to its formal serialization and physical publication. Volume seven continues the established aesthetic of the series, characterized by Tonogaya's clean, expressive character designs and a focus on the evolving romantic tension between the protagonists, Himuro and Fuyutsuki.

As an installment in a successful romantic comedy series, the seventh volume reflects the work's transition from viral web content to a mainstream publishing success. The series has been widely praised for its soothing tone and the charm of its supernatural office setting, which Tonogaya anchors with relatable human dynamics. Upon its release, the volume was received as a steady continuation of the narrative, maintaining the series' reputation for blending light fantasy elements with the conventions of a modern office-life manga.
