Provenance

Where it came from

The X-Men '97: Strike Files Infinity Comic series was released by Marvel to bridge the narrative gap between the original 1990s animated series and its 2024 revival. Designed as a digital-first companion, these issues provide supplementary lore, character profiles, and context for the events depicted on screen, catering specifically to fans looking for a deeper immersion into the show's updated continuity.

The creative direction for these digital comics focuses on a clean, modern aesthetic that pays homage to the iconic character designs of the nineties while utilizing the vertical scrolling format unique to the Infinity Comic platform. This issue, like its predecessors, serves to flesh out the tactical and personal histories of the X-Men roster, offering readers a methodical breakdown of the team's capabilities during the show's intense narrative arcs.
