Provenance

Where it came from

The X-Men '97: Strike Files Infinity Comic series was released by Marvel Comics in 2024 to coincide with the debut of the Disney+ animated series X-Men '97. These digital-first comics were designed to act as companion material, offering deep dives into the character histories, gear, and team dynamics established in the show's refreshed continuity.

The Strike Files format utilizes a horizontal, infinite-scroll layout specifically optimized for mobile reading on the Marvel Unlimited platform. By blending archival comic aesthetics with the updated visual language of the animated production, the series aims to provide viewers with an expansive lore experience that bridges the gap between classic X-Men comic storylines and the modern animated narrative.
