Coca-Cola Polar Bear (Diamond Glitter)

The Coca-Cola Polar Bear first appeared in television advertisements in 1993, created by the agency Edge Creative for a campaign titled Always Coca-Cola. Designed to evoke feelings of warmth and holiday cheer, the bear was modeled after the lovable, slightly clumsy demeanor of a family dog, distinguishing it from the more aggressive nature of real polar bears. The character quickly became an enduring brand icon, frequently paired with the brand's signature glass contour bottle in snowy, cinematic landscapes.

Funko introduced the Coca-Cola Polar Bear as part of its Pop! Ad Icons series, designated as number 58. This specific variation features a diamond glitter finish, a specialty coating designed to give the vinyl figure a shimmering, festive texture reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. Released as part of a broader push to commemorate iconic corporate mascots, the figure was met with positive reception from collectors who appreciated the blend of nostalgic advertising history with Funko's signature stylized aesthetic.
