Where it came from
Released in 2021 by Funko, this figure captures the title character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The figure was produced as part of the broader Pop! Marvel line to coincide with the character's cinematic introduction, representing the shift in the MCU toward exploring diverse mythological roots and martial arts-centric storytelling.
The design draws heavily from the film's costume department, featuring the protagonist in his signature red and black training attire. As with many figures in the Marvel Pop! series, the aesthetic aims to distill complex cinematic character designs into the brand's iconic stylized proportions, emphasizing a dynamic pose that reflects the character's athletic combat style.
