Where it came from
Sukjai, numbered 43 in the Pop! Asia series, was released by Funko to celebrate the Tourism Authority of Thailand's campaign of the same name. The character design is based on the official mascot representing the 'Amazing Thailand' initiative, intended to embody the welcoming spirit and happiness of the Thai people.
The figure features Sukjai dressed in traditional Thai attire, a stylistic choice intended to promote cultural tourism and national identity. Upon its release, it became a significant entry for international collectors of the Pop! Asia line, serving as a rare example of a corporate mascot rendered in the signature Funko aesthetic.
