Where it came from
The Sukjai figure is part of the Pop! Asia series, a collection released by Funko to celebrate cultural icons and mascots throughout the Asian market. Sukjai itself serves as the official tourism mascot for Thailand, representing the 'Happy Heart' spirit of the country. This specific blue chrome variation was produced as a limited edition collectible, designed to appeal to enthusiasts of both regional cultural iconography and the distinct aesthetic of Funko's stylized vinyl figures.
The design of the figure translates the round, cheerful features of the original mascot into the signature Pop! aesthetic, characterized by large, expressive eyes and a minimalist frame. The blue chrome finish was selected to provide a premium, reflective surface that distinguishes this version from the standard matte-finish mascot figures. Upon its release, it became a sought-after piece for collectors focusing on international exclusives, serving as a bridge between official tourism branding and the global hobby of vinyl toy collecting.
