Where it came from
The Wenwu Pop! figure, numbered 847 in the Marvel series, was released by Funko in 2021 to coincide with the cinematic debut of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The figure depicts the primary antagonist and father of the protagonist, Xu Wenwu, featuring his signature Ten Rings attire as portrayed by actor Tony Leung Chiu-wai in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Designed in the signature Funko aesthetic, the figure aims to capture Wenwu's formidable presence by emphasizing the intricate details of his iconic arm rings. Upon its release, the figure was welcomed by collectors as a core representation of the film's complex central character, serving as a staple piece for those documenting the expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Funko's stylized collectible line.
