LEGO Minifigures - Series 24 - Complete

Released in early 2023, the LEGO Minifigures Series 24 (set 71037) marked the latest iteration in a long-standing tradition of blind-bagged character collections. This series was designed to showcase a diverse array of creative personas, ranging from whimsical figures like the Carrot Mascot and T-Rex Costume Fan to more detailed historical and hobbyist-inspired archetypes like the Falconer and the Potter. The collection was developed by the LEGO design team to offer builders unique, standalone characters that could populate various city layouts or act as focal points for creative photography.

The reception of Series 24 was notably defined by a shift in manufacturing, as it represented one of the final waves to utilize the traditional mystery foil packaging before the company transitioned to more sustainable, tactile cardboard boxes. Designers focused on intricate printing techniques, such as dual-molded limbs and detailed accessories, to justify the collectible nature of the line. The set is widely appreciated by adult fans of LEGO for its high level of detail and the inclusion of specific accessories, such as the falcon and the detailed prints on the Rockin' Horse Rider, which pushed the boundaries of what is typically expected from a mass-produced minifigure.
