Provenance

Where it came from

The Alabaster Potion card was released as part of the Introductory Two-Player Set, a foundational release designed to teach new players the mechanics of the game. It served as a functional introduction to the item card sub-type, emphasizing the accessible, clear-cut design language that defined the early era of the game's development.

The art features a minimalist, illustrative style typical of the set's initial release, intended to evoke a classic fantasy aesthetic without overwhelming the card's text. It was received primarily as a utility component rather than a sought-after rarity, appreciated by early adopters for its reliable role in stabilizing gameplay during those formative sessions.
