What it does
Enchant your graveyard
Enchanted graveyard is a creature on the battlefield with base power and toughness each equal to the number of cards in it. It has the text boxes of all creature cards in it. It's still a graveyard.
If enchanted graveyard would leave the battlefield, instead exile this Aura.

Where it came from
Animate Graveyard was released in 2022 as part of the Unfinity set, the fourth installment in Wizards of the Coast's 'Un-' series. These sets are designed to explore experimental, humorous, and meta-game mechanics that are generally considered ineligible for standard tournament play, allowing designers to push the boundaries of traditional card interactions. The set was created to blend science fiction aesthetics with the whimsical nature of a galactic carnival, contrasting sharply with the game's usual high-fantasy tone.
The art for this card, illustrated by Wisnutananda, depicts the vibrant, neon-drenched aesthetic characteristic of the Unfinity carnival theme. The card serves as a humorous take on traditional graveyard recursion mechanics common in the broader Magic: The Gathering ecosystem, using the 'sticker' and 'attraction' gameplay gimmicks introduced in this set to create an intentionally chaotic player experience. It was received by the community as a lighthearted nod to the game's long history of necromantic themes, favored primarily by fans of casual and 'cube' draft environments.
