Provenance

Where it came from

The 30th Anniversary Token collection was released to commemorate the legacy of the Magic: The Gathering trading card game, marking three decades since its initial 1993 debut. These tokens were designed as high-quality, collectible supplements meant to accompany gameplay, drawing heavily from the classic aesthetic and artistic traditions established during the game's earliest years.

The Bird token, numbered 4 within the set, features updated artwork that pays homage to the iconic white-aligned creature tokens found throughout the history of the game. The design emphasizes a clean, nostalgic visual style, intended to satisfy long-time enthusiasts looking for a premium tactile experience that honors the mechanical history of the Wizards of the Coast design studio.
