Where it came from
Decree of Justice was originally printed in the 2003 Scourge expansion as a powerful white sorcery, designed to provide flexible utility through its cycling mechanic. Its inclusion in the Modern Horizons 3 set, numbered 263, reflects its enduring status as a staple for control archetypes that rely on generating token armies while maintaining card velocity.
The updated card art for the Modern Horizons 3 release retains the essence of the classic spell, emphasizing the divine and judicial imagery associated with the card's function. The design choices prioritize clarity for modern play environments while honoring the original thematic intent of bringing swift, mass reinforcements to the battlefield during an opponent's end step.
