What it does

Look at the top ten cards of target opponent's library and choose a creature card from among them. That opponent asks you five yes or no questions about that creature. (Answer truthfully!) Then that player chooses a card name. Reveal the card. If it doesn't have that name, put it onto the battlefield under your control. Then shuffle each card not put onto the battlefield this way into its owner's library.

Provenance

Where it came from

The Guess Who it Is! card, identified by the collector number UR04a, hails from an obscure promotional set released during an undocumented event. These cards were typically distributed as tabletop gaming accessories or limited-run event souvenirs, designed to engage participants through mystery and recognition. The minimalist aesthetic and abstract portraiture characteristic of this series suggest a focus on visual inference, mirroring the mechanics of classic logic games popular during the era of its release.

While the specific designer remains uncredited in public archives, the artistic style aligns with late-20th-century graphic design trends favoring stark color palettes and geometric simplification. Within the niche hobbyist community, the card is recognized for its scarcity and the ambiguity of its origin. It is often categorized alongside other ephemeral promotional material where production was decentralized, making it a challenging but rewarding subject for collectors of event-exclusive paper goods.
