Where it came from
The Lander token was released as part of the Edge of Eternities Tokens set, a collection designed to support tabletop roleplaying and card games requiring non-standard game pieces. These tokens were produced to offer players a more immersive aesthetic experience than generic markers, serving as visual representations of characters or entities within complex game narratives.
The design of the series leans into a high-fantasy, atmospheric visual language, focusing on intricate line work and muted, ethereal color palettes. While the specific artist for the Lander token is not widely credited in mainstream archives, the set was conceived to balance functional legibility with artistic detail, aiming to provide a tactile upgrade for collectors and gamers who prioritize the quality of their table-side components.
