Lander

The Lander token from the Edge of Eternities set was produced as part of a specialized expansion designed to enhance the tactical landscape of high-stakes tabletop card games. It emerged during a period when game developers sought to improve visual clarity for players by providing high-quality, dedicated physical representations for complex temporary field conditions. The design was intended to offer a grounded, immersive aesthetic that contrasted with the more fantastical elements of the main deck, serving as a functional utility tool that maintained the set's overarching stylistic cohesion.

The illustration for this piece was crafted by the studio's internal design team, who prioritized a minimalist approach to ensure the token remained legible during fast-paced play. By utilizing muted color palettes and clean lines, the designers aimed to signal the token's non-combat status immediately. Upon its release, the card was well-received by the community for its durability and its departure from the clutter often found in previous utility designs, cementing its role as a standard reference point for players managing the specific mechanics associated with the Edge of Eternities cycle.
