Where it came from
Natural Order was originally released in the Visions expansion in 1997 as a powerful green sorcery, designed to allow players to sacrifice a creature to search their library for a powerful green creature card. The card quickly became a centerpiece for combo-oriented decks due to its ability to cheat high-cost threats onto the battlefield early in the game, eventually earning a restricted status in several competitive formats.
The 2010 Judge Gift Card printing was commissioned by Wizards of the Coast as a reward for certified Magic: The Gathering judges for their service to the community.
