Snow-Covered Forest

The Snow-Covered Forest, collector number 120, was released as part of the Mystery Booster 2 set. This set was designed by Wizards of the Coast as a supplemental product, specifically intended for use in convention-based play environments. It serves as a curated experience that highlights the long and varied history of Magic: The Gathering by pulling from an expansive list of previously printed cards from across the game's lifespan.

The art and design of basic land cards like this Snow-Covered Forest are central to the game's identity, providing both the functional resources for gameplay and the aesthetic foundation for deck building. The Snow-Covered Forest specifically belongs to the sub-type of snow-covered lands, which possess unique mechanical interactions in certain Magic formats. As part of Mystery Booster 2, this card maintains the visual aesthetic of its original printing, continuing the tradition of illustrated landscapes that define the player's connection to the game's setting.
