Stangg Twin

The Stangg Twin token was released as part of the Masters 25 set in 2018, a compilation designed to celebrate twenty-five years of Magic: The Gathering. This specific card represents a token creature generated by the legendary creature card Stangg, which was originally introduced in the 1994 Legends expansion. The token serves a mechanical purpose in gameplay, reflecting the card's ability to create a non-legendary copy of itself, known as Stangg's Twin, to assist in combat.

The design of the token features artwork by Daarken, a frequent contributor to the franchise. The visual style follows the aesthetic standards of the modern era of the game, prioritizing clarity and thematic consistency with the core set's focus on historical reprints and creature tokens. As a promotional and functional inclusion in Masters 25, the token was well-received by players looking for official, standardized representations of game-generated creatures that had previously relied on makeshift markers.
