What it does
Until your next turn, your life total can't change and you gain protection from everything. All permanents you control phase out. (While they're phased out, they're treated as though they don't exist. They phase in before you untap during your untap step.)
Exile Teferi's Protection.

Where it came from
Teferi's Protection was first introduced in the 2017 Commander set, designed to mechanically represent the time-manipulation magic of the planeswalker Teferi. The card serves as a powerful defensive utility, granting the player and their permanents temporary phased-out status, effectively shielding them from harm or board wipes during an opponent's turn. Its inclusion in the Double Masters 2022 set as a premium reprint reflects its status as a staple in the Commander format, where its ability to reset a player's positioning remains highly sought after.
The artwork for this particular printing was illustrated by Magali Villeneuve, a prominent artist within the Magic: The Gathering community known for her evocative and painterly style. Villeneuve chose to depict Teferi amidst a cascading temporal distortion, emphasizing the protective and ethereal nature of his magic. The design was well received by the player base, as it combined a mechanically essential effect with high-quality, illustrative aesthetics that solidified the card's desirability among both competitive and casual collectors.
