Territory Culler // Territory Culler

The Territory Culler art card is part of the Modern Horizons 3 Art Series, released by Wizards of the Coast in 2024. This set was designed to showcase the intricate illustrative work found in the Modern Horizons 3 expansion, a product line specifically engineered to introduce powerful new cards directly into the Modern format of Magic: The Gathering. These art cards serve as high-quality, frame-less tributes to the game's aesthetic, providing collectors with a focused look at the world-building and character design that defines the set.

The illustration for this card was created by artist Fajareka Setiawan, whose work captures the predatory, wild essence of the creature. Setiawan, a frequent contributor to Magic: The Gathering, utilized a dynamic composition to emphasize the creature's menacing presence within its ecosystem. The series was well-received by the player base and collectors alike, as it elevated the digital-first illustrations to a tactile, matte-finished physical format, allowing fans to appreciate the technical details and color palettes that are often obscured by the text boxes and frames of standard gameplay cards.
