Where it came from
The Chaos Keeper, designated RZ02c, is a card associated with the mysterious Unknown Event set. While official documentation regarding its specific origin remains sparse, the series is widely regarded by hobbyists as an experimental collection that surfaced in niche trading circles. The card reflects a thematic focus on discord and entropy, likely intended to challenge traditional game mechanics through high-risk, high-reward ability text.
The artistic direction of the piece emphasizes surrealism, utilizing heavy contrast and unsettling iconography to ground its narrative of instability. The illustrator remains uncredited in public archives, a common trait for cards within this specific set. Upon its circulation, the piece was received as a curiosity by collectors who valued its unusual aesthetic and the ambiguity surrounding its mechanical purpose in play.
