Where it came from
The Keeper of Favorite Cards, cataloged as RW90e, originated as a specialty promotional item released during an undisclosed event series. While the specific origins of the set remain obscure, the card functions as an archival piece intended to celebrate the personal curation habits of collectors, acting as a meta-commentary on the hobby of trading card accumulation.
The design aesthetic centers on soft, illustrative motifs that evoke a sense of nostalgia, emphasizing the emotional value of a collection over its market liquidity. It was crafted as a commemorative object for attendees of the event, serving as both a functional card and a token of participation, though it never saw a wide commercial release or public critical appraisal.
