Provenance

Where it came from

The Vampire token was released in the Double Masters 2022 set, a specialized compilation product designed for Magic: The Gathering players who enjoy high-power drafting and premium reprints. This token served to support various card mechanics from the set that generate creature tokens, specifically those associated with the Orzhov or mono-black archetypes that frequently involve blood-themed imagery.

The visual design features a sleek, dark aesthetic consistent with the modern iteration of the Vampire creature type in the Magic: The Gathering multiverse. Like many tokens produced for premium sets, the illustration emphasizes atmospheric lighting and sharp, gothic details intended to distinguish the token from its predecessors while maintaining the functional clarity required for gameplay.
