The Complete Poetical Works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge : Including Poems and Versions of Poems Now Published for the First Time

Published in 1912 by Oxford University Press, this two-volume set serves as the definitive scholarly collection of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s verse during the early twentieth century. It was meticulously edited by Ernest Hartley Coleridge, the poet's grandson, who dedicated significant effort to restoring original texts and integrating previously unpublished manuscripts that had long remained in family archives.

The editorial design focuses on chronological accuracy and textual integrity, aiming to supersede the inconsistent editions that had circulated since the poet’s death in 1834. By incorporating poems and versions of poems that had not appeared in earlier compilations, the set was received by critics as an essential resource for Romantic studies, establishing a standard for Coleridge scholarship that remained influential for many decades.
