Crocodile

The Crocodile card (OP07-040) was released as part of the 500 Years in the Future expansion for the One Piece Card Game, which launched in 2024. This set drew its primary inspiration from the Egghead Island arc of the manga, focusing on futuristic aesthetics, high-tech inventions, and the return of significant figures from throughout the series' history. The card reflects the strategic, manipulative nature of the character, a core antagonist who has remained a recurring presence in the franchise's narrative.

Designed within the established visual language of the trading card game, the illustration captures Crocodile in his signature attire, emphasizing his cold, composed demeanor. The card utilizes the game's standard layout to highlight its specific abilities and color identity, which are balanced to fit into various deck archetypes within the competitive meta. Upon its release, the card was received as a functional tool for collectors and players interested in synergy-based deck building, consistent with the set's broader intent to expand the utility of legacy characters.
